Senior Attorney positions require a minimum of two (2) years of legal experience.

The minimum annual salary is $75,000.00.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The Prosecution and Enforcement section represents DFS on behalf of the Divisions of Insurance Agent & Agency Services, State Fire Marshal, and Funeral, Cemetery, & Consumer Services. Attorneys in this section have the opportunity to practice administrative and appellate matters. This section represents DFS in matters relating to licensee discipline, licensure denial, legislative bill analysis, and rule development. Attorneys who work with the Division of Funeral, Cemetery, & Consumer Services will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in litigating before a board.
